It’s Monday morning and the bun sisters are enjoying fresh hay while I sit at my computer trying to figure out what to write. It will probably be another rambling post, since I don’t have a set topic for Mondays.
The weather is overcast and somewhat chilly with light blue heading this way. I don’t think it will amount to more than a dusting if I even see one of those white “things” falling from the sky. Rumor has it that the temperatures are going to warm up later this week. Could that imaginary season of spring actually be heading this way? Nah. It’s all myth and legends, I tell ya’.
Even the bun sisters have been rather quiet this “spring”. I haven’t witnessed any crazy misbehavior that is normal for this time of the year. Hopefully, this isn’t a sign that something is wrong with one of them. There it is: The crazy bunny lady worrying about her bunnies. I can’t help it. They are my responsibility.
I had a really nice weekend. I’m still trying to process everything I learned as well as trying to remember the names of the people I met. This of course set me back plying the fractal I was spinning late last week. So, instead I’ll be treadling today, anxiously looking forward to seeing the final product. That is, unless I get sidetracked again. In any case, look at this post later this afternoon. I’ll be adding the picture of my fractal skein to the bottom.
My Plans for This Week
This will be (hopefully) a normal week. There are still several things I need to do before I can tick them off the infamous List. I need to list a few more skeins of handspun yarn on my Etsy shop as well as start tackling the crochet items. I also have to work on the student handouts for the classes I’m teaching at a local library. Then there are the various patterns I need to finish before I can publish them. Yup, it’s going to be another busy week. It does keep me out of trouble (for the most part). 🙂
Look forward to a special “family project” post for later this week. Now that I’ve seen how it came out, I’m rather excited to show you guys.
Thanks for listening to my Monday Ramblings. I hope you have a great week full of fun times. Do you have any special plans for this week? Or is it the same ‘ole, same ‘ole? Let me know in the comments below.
I’ve just put the skein on the deck to dry in the sun. I ended with 368 yards of light worsted yarn. Whatcha think?
Have an excellent day!
